Si è concluso oggi il Giro di Lussemburgo, nel quale la CSF Group-Navigare non ha ottenuto vittorie, ma si è comunque ben comportata come dimostrano il 9° posto di Domenico Pozzovivo a 2'20" dal vincitore Frank Schleck: senza grandi montagne, lo scalatore lucano è stato comunque sempre abile a mantenere le posizioni di testa, e la sua corsa poteva anche mettersi meglio se ieri non fosse incappato in una caduta mentre era in testa con Frank Schleck e Klöden, che poi hanno chiuso ai primi due posti di tappa e della classifica generale finale.

In classifica vanno segnalati anche il 12esimo posto di Canuti (8° di tappa ieri) e il 23esimo posto di Mauro Finetto, rispettivamente a 2'39" e 5'20" di distacco. Questi tre piazzamenti hanno permesso alla CSF Group-Navigare di terminare al 3° posto la speciale classifica a tempi per squadre con 4'02" di distacco dalla Saxo Bank e soli 38" dal secondo posto dell'Astana. Nella classifica dei giovani Canuti è giunto 4° a 1'07" dal vincitore Marcato, ma a soli 7" da Andy Schleck, l'ultimo vincitore della Liegi-Bastogne-Liegi. Finetto, Frapporti, Marangoni e Zen - gli altri in graduatoria - hanno chiuso rispettivamente al 9°, 11esimo, 12esimo e 17esimo posto.

Il prossimo appuntamento del team sarà dal 18 al 21 giugno per il Tour de Slovénie, corsa di categoria 2.1 facente parte dello Europe Tour.

Pozzovivo ends 9th the Tour of Luxembourg

Canuti is 4th in the Younger. 3rd place in Team Time Overall

CSF Group-Navigare team hadn't gain any victory in the Tour of Luxembourg, but it rode very well in these five days: Domenico Pozzovivo ends 9th in GC with a gap of 2'20" from the winner, Frank Schleck. Pozzovivo didn't find any hard mountain and maybe he could obtain a best placements if he was luckier yesterday, when he falt while he was ahead with Frank Schleck and Klöden, best two of yesterday stage and of GC.

In the final GC there are also the 12th place of Canuti (8th in 3rd stage) and the 23rd of Finetto, with a gap of 2'39" and 5'20". These three good placements permits to the CSF Group-Navigare's to obtain 3rd place in the special team time GC, with a gap of 4'02" from Saxo Bank's, but only 38" from the second place of Astana's. In the Younger classification, Canuti ends 4th with a gap of 1'07" from the winner Marcato, but only with 7" from the last winner of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Andy Schleck. Finetto, Frapporti, Marangoni and Zen - the other CSF Group-Navigare's youngster - ends 9th, 11th, 12th and 17th.

CSF Group-Navigare team will held next race from June, 18th to 21st along the Tour de Slovénie, class 2.1 race which is part of the Europe Tour.
